Usually if our computer get older also its performance make slower. So,what are the reasons behind this?

1. Virus
2. So many programs installed which the physical memory (RAM) could not accommodate to load. (re-install of not useful application program is needed )
3. Almost full storage device( delete unnecessary files is reccomended)
4. Defragmentation is needed ( maintenance of file systems)
5. Hard disk bad sector

Some steps below me help to solve your turtle computer performance...

1. Move your paging file

1.1 Open the Control Panel and select the System applet or go to My Computer>right click and select Properties
1.2 On the Advanced tab, select Settings on the Performance gorup
1.3 On the Performance Options dialog box, click Change, which is under the Virtual Memory group
1.4 Click on the hard disk that currently contains the pagefile (siguradong drive C: yun) (1.) then click No paging file (2.), then click Set
1.5 Click on the drive that you want to contain the pagefile (bukod sa drive C: ha) (1.), then click Custom size (2.) and enter the same value as shown in the Recommended field or Kung 1GB ang RAM mo - set to 500 MB, Kung 512MB ang RAM mo - set to 700 MB, Kung 256MB ang RAM mo - set to 1000 MB, Kung 128MB ang RAM mo - set to 1500 MB , finally, click Set then OK

* sa akin ginagawa ko 1000 ang sineset ko dun sa drive na inallocate ko, 256 mb ram yung pc ko,

2. Improve Processing Speed

Click Start > Run > Type: msconfig > Click Ok, Click SYSTEM.INI > Click [386enh] > Click new > type: RUNConservativeSwapfileUsage=1 > Click apply > Click Ok > Restart your computer

3. Go to start > control panel > add/remove programs > then sa left side nung window click add/remove windows components > lalabas ang windows components wizard, uncheck all the components you want to remove, then click next, yung mga hindi nakacheck ay tatanggalin to gain space and even make your computer perform better, depende na sa inyo kung ano ang gusto ninyong tanggalin.

4. Go to start > Run > type in msconfig > lalabas yung system configuration utility > go to sevices tab , uncheck all the services you think you don't need, mostly inauncheck ko yung mga services na ang manufacturer ay unknown, > go to startup tab then uncheck all unnecessary startup programs (this helps your computer load faster on startup), > go to BOOT.INI tab, dun sa timeout option nakalagay 30 sec. diba, gawin nyong , (this will make your computer boot faster)

To avoid any further hustle and doing the guidelines above you ca use deep freeze to stay forever the performance of your computer.
